RSYC Cruise #143

I tried the latest cruise, even one day late and alone, but I liked it. I saw new places and even met friends, I just know by Flickr, but they recognized my by my pics and my boat. YAY!

It was really fun!

This is how Destiny looks …

Damien asked me to take our fastest boat out, cuz he wanted to try his new PFD. Well I am not sure if the Pacha fullfills the request, but we had loads of fun, even tho there were still Problems cuz of the griefer attack!

First Adventure

Today was a very special day for me, cuz I spent it with my son Damien. I planned a trip for us, so he got hiking boots, and the right clothes, and we started the chopper!

Like a real pro, even when Mommy was flying. We flew all the way down to Frasier Island Airport, were we landed. Next to the airport is a Kayak rental station, for free! We took a double…

With the kayak we drove all the way up to Cooper Creek Wilderness, along the home of a close friend, Dex.

Damien loved it, just like I did, to had him there with me!

Finally and very late, we arrived at the butterfly house. And not without danger. We accidently ran into two, not one, TWO tigers, but they seemed to be nice, and VERY well fed … and into some eals. But my mokassins saved me, while I carried Damien piggyback through the waters.

At the Butterfly House, we had a small rest, and my little monster got his ice pop … he fell asleep as I took him into my arms. We grabbed the cab home, where the bed was the next station!

Thank you for this lovely day little one! And thank you to Conte Alchemi for these lovely sims! It was an amazing trip, and we will return for more hidden findings!

Fairytale Wednesday

Once upon a time, there lived a princess, in a land far far away down under. She lost her mommy early, and stayed alone with her dad. So she grew up, and after a while, her dad passed away too.

She walked alone and loneyley, through the days, untill a prince came. But it wasn’t Prince Charming, like you would assume, he was more like Shrek, an Oger. But he loved her, and saved her out of the dark valley, her lonelyness put her in.

They lived together, many month, and one day … it was spring and rainy, a little prince was born. “Damien shall be his name!” said the princess, and her Prince agreed. Now with a baby boy, They became Kind and Queen, with their little prince.

But soon dark clouds came up, and a strom break loose, ripping the little family apart again. The pain, of loosing her King, made the Queen so sad, that she needed to send her precious boy to her grandparents, so he would live with them, untill the pain lingered away.

Many years went by, but still the pain was like a fresh open wound. Untill one day… in june … it wasn’t even a nice day.. but it became very special. The queen decided, to take her boy back, to give him the live he deserves, even if she is still alone, but she will become the best mommy ever…

Thank you Damien, for deciding, to stay with me, and thank you for making this day so special.

12M race of RSYC…

… or how I sabotaged Jasp…

It was my first 12M race, but Jasp was kind as always and took me with him. But I was more an obstacle, keeping the boat .. flat, but it wanted to be in a 45° angle to the water… well in the end I knew that too …

I can tell you, I worked hard, and the two of us spent a boat load of sweat. And happenings like having a huge plane right in front of you… didn’t really made it easier for us.

But we saw awesome other boats, the weather was great, and we had our fun. Jasp was forgiving and patient as always, so thank you very much!*hugs and kisses to you Darling*

Here we are on the last step of the race. In front of Titus place, I thought it would make a great shot. We had almost 15 knots there, and worked great together in the end.

Late at Night….

… my sweet sister Dakota and I decided to go on a party …

… so we went to Bama Bayou, for some US music, sexy Cajun boys and cold beer ….

… unfortunately we came to late, because silly me, mixed up the days. The party was on Wednesday, and it was Thursday ….

But we had our fun, and were able to make these great shots!

Über den Wolken...

This is how a very great german song starts. Translated it means “Above the Clouds…” and it goes on with “the freedom will be endlessly…”

This song is one, all the aviators have in their hearts, if they know it, or if they don’t. In this spirit, Jaspar and I took on a challenge, withUltralights!

I have to admit, I had to concentrate real hard, thats why you only get this picture of the “groundwork”. The next time, i will be more skilled, and will be able to get you some out of the air. This wonderfull Ultralight Plane, is for sale on Marketplace, for less than 190 L$ !INCREDIBLE!!

It comes with this detailed HUD, and i enjoyed it very much. So to all the aviators out there, who like a challenge, this little baby will do the trick.

Sailing (Drill) Instructor tell me what to do…

I sooo love that song. Captain Jack with “Drill Intructor”, but that is not what this post is about. No my friends and follower, this is about sailing, and how I introduced a .. let’s say skilled sailor, got to know the USB.

He isn’t that experienced with the Zephiweather, like I am, but I had more time to figure it out, and I had Jasp. So I took Claw to RSYC Vindar, to get the Ultimate Sailor Buddy, short USB. You can see, how happy I am to help a friend out…

The HUD on the left side, is the USB. Claw liked it pretty much as far as I could get.  Here we had a little break, so he can refresh a bit, I know how hard some boats can be, especially if you are used to the Nemo. But after that hour I can say, Claw is a real brAt-ish Scott!

Thank you Claw Streeter for this cute little adventure, and for having my annoying self around.

I finally did it, I finished my Destiny, and I think she is quite loveable. It is a Pacha 110, but for me it will have still my special number on the sails, 143!

Thelxiope or how charming something can be….

Some days ago, Jasp came to me, after I finished up the public beach at Hay Harbor, to chat and chill a bit.

While we were doing this, he showed me his Pacha, and I didn’t like it much, but he didn’t either. So on short notice, I grabbed my paintbucket and swang the brush, to make his sweet yacht the way he would like it.

With the paintbucket I took also some fabric and a needle, to get him some new fabrics onto his furniture too.

It was too late to have a run with her, but right on the next day, we showed her off, and Dakota, my sister came right along, with her Shileds Class “Xsenias Pearl”.

He made me name it, and i took another Sirens-Name Thelxiope. It means charming voice, he loved it.

I love this lyrics, another reason why my IF is named Faith. But today I wasn’t out with the faith, Jasp took me along with his Thelxinoe - this is ancient greek and means “charming the minds”.

We trained our teamwork today, well at least we wanted, just to realize, that we dont have to, cuz we seem to know each other well enough, to know on the body language what to expect and do next. It was an awesome feelingand the tacking was great too.

Cuz of the roling restarts we had to wait several times, untill we could move on.

But finally we were able to rush home, as fast as the wind could carry us. The “Theli” how I call Jasps boat fondly, was a huge pleasure today.

…and Jasp was too. XD

The first real Trip …

Jasp and I had today the first real Trip with our IFs. After I gifted him a full texture set, sepcially made just for him, we went out to try her and play with the waves.

Very awesome we tried the Cinematic Cam too - it is amazing … mind blowing, I so hafte to make some videos now. Some of the pics are made with this special cam.

What you can’t read at the moment …

… Jasps IF got her name by me. She is called Thelixoe - this means “charming the mind” and as the IF is really charming our minds, it was just perfect, and is the name of a Siren.

We both have very differnt taste in colors, but I loved to do this one for him. I need to make some shots, to show you all of the details!

I have Faith, in more than one way. Finally she is ready, the textures are finished, and I am done customizing my baby.

I always felt with her like.. I do with old “Hippie VW busses” - so .. just look how she turned out!

The first round with the Bandit IF!

Jasp and I met at RSYC, to check out our new babes. While we were trying and sailing, we caught Titus, the Commodore of the RainbowSails Yacht Club in his IF.

So we had a cruise/race down the Blake Sea Channel, around the buoy at Blake Sea - Carribean, and back to Snug Sea. I won.. well I would have won, if it would have been a race. LONG before the others I arrived at Snug Sea.

Back to Vindar we had wind from the front .. so we tacked with Autopilot to the marina, where I got a berth for my new babe.

Fazit: BUY THAT BOAT!! It’s perfect, great just amazing!

FINALLY - my Baby belongs to ME

For a person with a total lack in patience it was HARD for me to wait for her. But now finally, I got her MY Bandit IF. I had a problem with the name, but it came to me once I arrived at my marina. Faith shall it be, cuz Faith I had in Analease and Dutch - this boat is awesome! Thank you!
