Rainbow Cruise #152…

… or how the lag played Finding Nemo!

This weekends cruise was brought to us by Tad Loonie, and gee it was tots loonie…. Thank you very much, I am almost sure, it wasn’t your fault that we had lag.. but just almost!

When I first saw the cruise chart, I was intrigued to do it the masochistic way, and choose the IF. But after some thinking.. I dropped that idea pretty fast, and decided to use myNacra. She got finally her paintjob done, and a name. Nemo - shall it be and dang! Even with a broken fin Nemo is FAST!!

I have to admit, I had a blast, was first at the first rendevous point, and had time to work on my tan. But then it happened … the big and bad Lag-Monster finally started to play “Finding Nemo” with me.. and the pity.. it found Nemo ALL the way back on the second and third leg of this wonderfull cruise. We saw spots we all know but with some work and tacking and racing - everything was in this time.

My fazit: “Thank you Tad and next time, leave the lag at home! :-) “

My joke for today:

A depressed young woman was so desperate that she decided to end her life by throwing herself into the ocean. When she went down to the docks, a handsome young sailor noticed her tears, took pity on her, and said, “Look, you’ve got a lot to live for. I’m off to Europe in the morning, and if you like, I can stow you away on my ship. I’ll take good care of you and bring you food every day.” Moving closer, he slipped his arm around her shoulder and added, “I’ll keep you happy, and you’ll keep me happy.”

The girl nodded ‘yes.’ After all, what did she have to lose? That night, the sailor brought her aboard and hid her in a life-boat. From then on, every night he brought her three sandwiches and a piece of fruit, and they made passionate love until dawn.

Three weeks later, during a routine inspection, she was discovered by the captain. “What are you doing here?” the Captain asked. “I have an arrangement with one of the sailors,” she explained. “We’re going to Europe, and he’s screwing me.” “He sure is, lady,” said the Captain. “This is the Robben Island Ferry."
